2 · Services
Orbis Design provides ongoing web, digital and production services for the Champions Network and, where requested, the LCRL site, covering the six workstreams set out in the Proposal:
- Site & podcast maintenance — champions-network.com and the LCRL site kept current; Liberty Action Alert episodes produced and posted weekly on approval.
- Chapter expansion — publicity kits and landing pages for each new chapter, on the chapter template.
- Lecture-first Academy production — each recorded lesson turned into a structured session page (chapters, discussion guide, quiz, glossary), built for individual study and group use.
- Subscriber Academy & payments — membership shell, admin backend, Stripe subscriptions with coupon codes and gift subscriptions, once the LCRL Stripe account exists.
- Champions Advocate Weekly — the live send path, source attribution, and stories surfaced on the site.
- Continuity documentation — written process documentation so a staff member or intern can run the production workflow.
Which of these proceed, and how far, is set by the service level chosen in §3.
3 · Service level and fee
All levels bill at $100 per hour, unchanged from the prior term. The level selected by the LCRL Board is marked below.
| Level | Includes | Hours / month | Fee / month |
| | Maintain | Site, sessions and podcast kept current; chapter kits as chapters form. No new platform capability. | 15 | $1,500 |
| ☐ | Build (recommended) | Everything in Maintain, plus lecture-first Academy production, the Subscriber Academy and Stripe once unblocked, the Advocate Weekly send path, and continuity documentation. | 30 | $3,000 |
| | Launch | Everything in Build, plus full Year 1 and Year 2 rebuilt, the progress / rewards / drip-email layer, road pitch deck, and LCRL site migration off Squarespace. | 45 | $4,500 |
Selected level: [Build — $3,000 / month, 30 hours] Annual total: [$36,000 · 360 hours]
4 · How the hours work
- Carry-forward. Unused hours in any month carry forward within the term. They do not carry past August 31, 2027.
- Over the allowance. If a month's queue would exceed the hours available, Orbis Design says so before doing the work, and the Client chooses to defer it, drop it, or approve it at the same $100 rate.
- Out of scope. Work outside §2 is quoted separately before it starts and is never billed as a surprise.
- Transparency. Hours are tracked in Clockify and visible to the Client at any time on the internal Status page; a summary accompanies each invoice.
5 · Invoicing and payment
- Invoiced monthly in advance on the first of the month, to LCMS accounts payable (Georgia Endicott), with Rev. Frith copied. Net 30.
- The first invoice covers September 2026; work performed from September 1 pending the Board's decision is included in it and not billed separately.
- Third-party costs (Cloudinary, Netlify, Resend, Stripe fees, domain and font licences) are passed through at cost or paid directly by the Client, as they are today. None is marked up.
6 · Approvals and working arrangement
- Rev. Mark Frith approves content and releases on behalf of the Client; approval by email reply is sufficient, as it is today for the Liberty Action Alert.
- A weekly check-in continues (currently Fridays, 11:00 Central) with a live working agenda maintained by Orbis Design.
- Material sent for Doctrinal Review is the Client's responsibility to route; Orbis Design supplies it in whatever form the reviewers accept.
7 · Ownership and access
- Everything produced for the Client under this agreement — pages, print files, session content, email templates, imagery commissioned for the Network — belongs to LCRL. Source files live in the Client-accessible repository and shared drive.
- Orbis Design retains the right to reuse generic tooling and templates it has developed (build scripts, admin panel, chapter-kit pipeline) on other work, without the Client's content or branding.
- Credentials for hosting, DNS, Stripe, email sending and Cloudinary are held so that the Client can recover them without Orbis Design; a credentials handover document is part of the continuity workstream.
8 · Term and ending it
- Effective September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2027. Renewal is by written agreement before the term ends; the parties will review scope and level in June 2027.
- Either party may end the agreement with 30 days' written notice. Work in progress is completed or handed over cleanly; hours already invoiced but unused are refunded or applied to the handover, at the Client's choice.
- The level may be changed at any month boundary by agreement, with a written note from both sides.
What this document does not try to be. It is a plain-language working agreement between a ministry and a
one-person studio that have worked together since March 2026, written to be filed on both sides as Rev. Frith asked.
If the LCMS office prefers its own contractor form, this can be attached to it as the statement of work.
