Join your fellow Champions in Washington, D.C. — to stand for life, and to meet fellow Champions for Religious Liberty face to face.
This guide will help your Champion chapter consider, plan, and budget a trip to the 2027 National March for Life.
We'll be there in force — marching for life, and gathering as a network of citizens, pastors, and educators who stand together for religious liberty. The date is no accident: the March is held each year near January 22, the day in 1973 the Supreme Court handed down Roe v. Wade. We march in hope, in prayer, and in witness.
Whether you come for the day or the whole weekend, this guide breaks down everything to think through before you go — and our team will keep you posted on booking deadlines and our Champions gatherings.
Here are the gatherings we're planning for Champions. Come for what you can — every part is optional, and the March itself is the heart of it.
Last year's March for Life group-rate hotel — across from the Washington Convention Center, between Capitol Hill and the White House.
Group rate is the federal per-diem + tax, and applies to triple/quad occupancy too. First come, first served.
All travel to and from where you live is your own expense.
Hotels all have restaurants, and there are diners all over the city. Eating out for every meal adds up fast.
Money-saving tip: small groceries around the city let you grab cold cuts, cheese, fruit, bread, and drinks for a couple of meals on the cheap.

5:30–9:30 p.m. after the March — a fundraiser for the March for Life organization. Reservations required; chapters often buy a table of 8.
A word to the wise: if you do the rally and the afternoon March, you'll have been on your feet 4–6 hours. Some attend the morning rally, skip the March, and save their energy for the Gala. Attendees may be invited to give a one-time or monthly gift.
In 2026, March for Life launched Pour la Vie — a cocktail reception (ages 21–35) running alongside the Rose Dinner, with networking, light hors d'oeuvres, and an open bar (21+). 2026 time: 5:30–8:00 p.m. Reservation required.
Whether 2027 will host this (or something similar) is not yet confirmed.
If you've never been, there's a lot to take in. Hours vary by venue — and many places now add a service fee on small charges, so carry a little cash.
It might be mild, but it's often cold, rainy, or snowy. You may be packing just 2–3 days out, so watch the forecast. Bring:
The Champions Network will offer bright-colored hats & scarves — so we can spot each other in a sea of thousands. March for Life also has a merch store at shop.marchforlife.org.
How we carry ourselves is part of the witness.
Tell us you're coming, and we'll keep you posted on booking deadlines, the group hotel block, and our Champions gatherings. Bring your chapter — there's strength in numbers, and joy in the company.
