St. Stephen is starting a Champions for Religious Liberty chapter — eight Wednesday evenings to get equipped, with neighbors from across the Liberty area at the table.
St. Stephen Lutheran Church is the home of this chapter — but the room was never meant to stop at the property line, and that is by design.
You have had the conversation — at work, at a family table, in a school parking lot — and walked away wishing you had said it better. This chapter is where you get ready for the next one, before it comes.
Team Jesus already knows how to show up for one another. This is that same thing, pointed at the questions the culture is asking your family right now.
This chapter meets at St. Stephen, but it was never meant to stop at the property line. Congregations across the Liberty area are welcome at the table.
You do not need to be a member here, and you do not need to arrive knowing anything. You need an evening a month and a willingness to show up.
By doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people.1 Peter 2:15
The full year is set in advance so the chapter never has to negotiate a date. Miss one and you're still in — but the chapter works best when the same faces come back.
Sessions are held at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 205 N Forest Ave, Liberty, MO 64068.
Open to members of St. Stephen and to neighboring congregations across the Liberty area. There is no cost and no prior study required — only a willingness to show up.
